Pastor Ademir Simoes
Pastor Ademir Simoes and Pastor Tim Moore co-founded Walk Worthy Baptist Church in 2009 after serving together for several years on staff at Great Hills Baptist Church. Originally from Joao Pessoa, Brazil, Pastor Ademir utilized his formal music education for almost two decades as the Music Minister at First Baptist Church Joao Pessoa for both Symphonic Orchestra and Choir. Pastor Ademir served in a pastoral role with First Brazilian Baptist Church of Austin. In 2011 Pastor Ademir answered God's call to lead the Music and Creative Arts Ministry at Bible Baptist Church Pflugerville. Pastor Ademir serves as Vice President of Walk Worthy Missions and brings his desire to serve Christ with his love of music, his diverse cultural background, and his missional life experience to serve the travel teams around the world. He is also committed to the gospel of Jesus Christ and helping desperately poor communities meet physical, medical and spiritual needs. He and his wife Eliane came to the United States in 1999 and have three children (Renata, Roberta, and Ademir Filho) and nine beautiful grand children. Ademir and Eliane became American fully naturalized citizens in 2017.
