MELODY OCONNER
Treasurer and Missions Director
Melody has a passion for accountability and a life on mission. She currently serves as the Director of Missions and Treasurer for the Walk Worthy Missions organization. She loves being on the mission field both locally and internationally. She has served as the Walk Worthy Missions Director and team coordinator since the founding of Walk Worthy Baptist Church in 2009 and was recently elected Treasurer of the church. Melody has been actively serving on the Mission field since 2007 utilizing her administrative skills in organizing mission teams. She brings her desire to serve Christ with her love and compassion for serving others, singing, teaching Sunday school and working with children in Vacation Bible school. There’s no greater joy than receiving hugs from the children and forming lifetime relationships with the international teams and churches. Melody was born and raised in Big Spring, TX and attended Howard College. She is blessed with a daughter, son-in-law and grandson who live in Midland, Tx (Stefanie, Kevin and Brock) who bring her great joy.
